Desiccant Dryer (Also known as Heatless Dryers)
Damp air passes at once via the desiccant medium, that soaks up the moisture. The desiccant medium has a limited capacity for adsorbing moisture earlier than it should be dried out or regenerated. To make this happen the tower containing saturated desiccant medium is depressurized and the collected water is pushed off.
How this takes place relies upon the kind of desiccant dryer:
• For cleaning, a Heatless dryer uses only compressed air.
• Heat of compression dryers use the warmth of the compression
